Handcrafted in Derbyshire by Denby ‘s ceramic experts, styled by life and sustainably made, the new Greenhouse and Carve tableware, decor and gift items feature a selection of biophilic patterns and textures designed to create a sense of calm and tranquillity.

Featuring layered leaves, simple repeats and soft glazes placed against a textural back drop, the collection is designed to be purchased as standalone ranges or mixed and matched effortlessly together to create a truly unique collection.
The falling leaves and biophilic design of Greenhouse adds interest whilst Carve’s strength and dependable yet subtle design makes an ideal foundation set.

The carve texture that appears on all the Greenhouse and Carve items is produced in the mould. Whilst moulds are normally created through digital drawings by Denby’s design team, to create the organic hand carved feel for this collection, the design team took a different approach. Over 150 hours were spent hand-carving a master mould, resulting in layers of finesse and unique detail.
Denby are one of very few manufacturers who produce porcelain tableware right here in the UK, meaning the travel miles from the Derbyshire pottery is much lower than many options on the market. Denby are also proud to be the first UK tableware manufacturer to claim zero process waste to landfill; they recycle clay, moulds, waste and glaze throughout the process meaning Denby products are a conscious choice. The high quality and durability of their pieces also means they are designed to last for many years to come.

Denby porcelain is as versatile and durable as it is beautiful with each piece passing through at least 20 pairs of hands in the Derbyshire pottery. Denby’s skilled craftspeople have refined their craft over decades to produce long-lasting pieces that are designed for everyday use. Freezer, oven and dishwasher safe, the Denby porcelain comes with a 10-year guarantee, too.
