Natasha Burton Interiors: Giving a dated kitchen a modern feel and function

Natasha Burton interiors new kitchen refresh

Suffolk-based interior design studio Natasha Burton Interiors completed recently a kitchen refresh to create a more up-to-date, functional space.

This small but quaint property had a small and very dated kitchen that the client wanted to refresh and make feel lighter.

The layout didn’t need to change but everything around the cabinets was changed to create a more up-to-date and classic kitchen space that felt so much brighter.

Updating the flooring, tiling the walls, adding shelving, changing the kitchen cabinet doors and adding statement handles all helped this small space feel so much bigger and brighter.

The main feature of the room which really elevated the space was the bespoke wooden extractor hood designed to hide the extractor appliance but instead create a beautiful feature in the room. With open shelving and hanging hooks this room felt so much more inviting.
