Millie Morgan: Textile art for soothing the mind

Textile artwork provides a multi-sensory experience in interior through soothing colours and textures. Textile artist Millie Morgan creates such artwork using traditional craft of hand weaving and hand dyeing in natural dyes such as Safflower and Indigo. The nature of hand dyeing makes each piece entirely unique. Woven from natural materials such as organic cottons and linens, Millie’s artworks are created with the utmost care for the environment. Inspired by the connection with the natural world, each piece evokes different emotions triggered by different colours. Some are designed to energise the mind, others aim to sooth the mind.

After graduating from Hereford College of Arts in 2021, Millie started her creative business with a mission to create textiles with value that will be treasured as heirlooms. She is a big champion of wool and its sustainable properties, using locally source or British wool in many of her designs.

Millie is available for commissions of woven art work for personal or commercial settings, as well as bespoke fabric design for interiors. She will guide you through the process of creating a unique fabric for use in your home.
