Bursting with energy and life, the new collection for 2025 by Birdie Fortescue, called Santísima, captures the radiance of Cuba and is inspired by the colourful towns nestled between the lush Escambray Mountains and the idyllic Caribbean coast.
This uplifting collection pays homage to Cuba’s extravagant history. The colour palette of fresh greens, dusky blues, earthy reds and blush pinks sits across lively patterns and textures.
Inspired by colour drenched rooms with time-worn architecture, decorative tilework and hand painted borders, Santísima reinterprets traditional Cuban charm for contemporary living.
For the garden and outdoors Birdie Fortescue is also excited to present the new Curato Garden collection; a lightweight, weatherproof range of outdoor furniture which echoes Cuba’s culture of alfresco living, while also being suited to classic English summers. This chic collection is hand crafted from aluminium and faux painted to simulate rattan, offering water-resistant and stylish pieces that include an armchair, sofa, side table, and coffee table.
Ideal for terraces, gardens and indoor spaces alike, these generously sized pieces are perfect for spring/summer living. Layer with seasonal cushions, including our hero designs – the colourful Mariana trailing leaf, decorative Sancti featuring naive embroidery, and our new water- resistant classic Arriate cushion.
In addition, Birdie and her team have played with materials, proportions and colour to curate a seasonal lighting collection that is both unique and timeless.
The floral inspired Campanilla Pendant Light is a statement piece that is bold yet feminine and works wonderfully when styled individually or in pairs. The new Chik Rattan Lamp and Raya Resin Inlay Lamp have been especially designed to inject vibrancy and texture into any interior setting.
Amongst an array of gathered lampshades, the Striped Drum Lampshade is a standout piece and offers a new look. This contemporary yet classic shade will bring character and charm to any interior.
The Santisima collection unveils also a new range of charming bed valances. Block-printed by hand with a statement contrast border, the smart Margarita Bed Valance pairs with the coordinating Margarita Bolster Cushion and is available in three soft colourways and three sizes.
Not forgetting floor coverings, new statement Moroccan Jute Rug is both hard-wearing and stylish. Its the geometric design has been inspired by Tuareg rugs from North Africa and blends tradition with contemporary flair.
The Santísima Collection blends Cuban charm with the refined elegance of English summers.
