Aiveen Daly luxury textile artist

Contemporary textile artist, Aiveen Daly has been named one of the 50 most influential people in British luxury heading up the ‘creatives’ category at the fourth annual Walpole Power List announced at The Lanesborough hotel in London.

The Power List celebrates the inspirational individuals whose creativity, leadership and skill are powering the future growth of the most exciting sector in the world.

Studio Aiveen Daly is the UK’s leading textile artistry house and the only one of its kind in the world. Known for its complex fabric manipulation techniques beloved by the world’s finest interior designers and architects. Aiveen is recognised in the Power List for her long-standing success and work at the Walpole House of Luxury for which she completed a range of textile artistry works and her own body of personal work, Coralation, launched this year.

Aiveen is a pioneer in the design sector, having built a reputation amongst architects and interior designers over the past 17 years. She has a loyal following and is the textile artist of choice for the finest luxury textile art, fabric manipulation, and sculptural leatherwork, all crafted in London.

“I am thrilled to be recognised in this way – I love what I do – it is an honour to create bespoke textile artworks for the world’s finest commercial and residential interiors. Being a creative with a busy studio in London we are usually head down designing and looking to break boundaries with our textile art techniques, stretching the limitations of what is possible. To have this recognition for our hard work and creativity means a lot.”

Helen Brocklebank, Walpole, CEO said: “Time and time again we see that people are this sector’s greatest asset and the driving force behind the brands, hotels and cultural institutions that make British luxury so desirable. It’s a pleasure to be able to recognise and celebrate their achievements this evening.
