Kalinko, the first homeware brand to come out of Burma, presents “A Kalinko Christmas gives joy way beyond Christmas day”. The gifts are extremely beautiful and thoughtfully made from sustainable, natural materials. But more than that, they give the gift of stability to rural artisans in Burma living through challenging times.
All products are made slowly by hand. Each is different from the next, with its own quirks and idiosyncrasies, just like the hundreds of skilled people who make them. These are gifts that give back: presents made by people, with purpose, whose pulse directly connects the maker to their new owner.

Kalinko started in 2016 with a mission to put Burmese craft and artisanal heritage on the international map, while helping the craft families they work with be best placed to prosper as the country develops. The brand aims to support as many communities of crafters as possible, helping them build sustainable businesses and preserving their talents for the future.

Each piece is completely handmade. The process can take days or even weeks to finish – you can’t make long-lasting, beautiful homeware in a hurry. They’re designed to be timeless, and to be part of any home for generations.
