Birdie Fortescue introduces new Andalusia collection

Inspired by the vibrancy of the southern Spanish coast, Birdie Fortescue, the interiors brand, introduces the new Andalusia collection of cushions, rugs, throws, lamps, furniture and accessories.

Airy and fresh, the collection mirrors the radiance of the region, from earthy tones inspired by cities and sunbaked landscapes, to vibrant blues reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Soft greens ground the collection, echoing the lush mountain ranges that punctuate the countryside.

The Andalusia colour palette has been thoughtfully curated to inject the warmth of the Spanish sun into interiors this season, paired with designs that express the rich culture and historic architecture.

As with all their collections, every design and pattern tells a story. The hero design of the season, Cordoba, takes inspiration from a detail Birdie admired in the Mezquita in Cordoba (Mezquita-Cateral de Coroba). Reimagined across block print and embroidered on velvet cushions, the trailing design perfectly balances both floral and geometric elements with effortless simplicity.

The new furniture range, The Pavilion Collection, takes its inspiration from nature. Hand carved with a timeless leaf motif, the collection includes wooden headboards, side tables and ottomans, all finished with a natural cane interior.

New designs have been thoughtfully created to layer seamlessly with previous collections. The Capilla pattern, a playful geometric inspired by the Capilla Mayor, in the Catedral de Sevilla, sits across cushions and lampshades, pairing perfectly with the much-loved Edo Stripe styles.

Throughout this collection Birdie Fortescue revisited their archive of classic designs to introduce their first-ever silk lampshade using the popular Trellis pattern in a new adapted shape, as well as introducing the Twisted Wooden Floor Lamp, a timeless piece, to sit within the Twisted Lamp family.

Whilst celebrating the old, Birdie Fortescue has embraced the new, introducing a stunning Mosaic Lamp. A statement piece, hand crafted from semi-precious materials, it echoes the warmth and vibrancy of Andalusia’s cities. The stylish Plaited Woven Tray, generous in size with an organic shape, is a staple for entertaining on a summer’s evening or slow Sunday mornings.
