Styling Space, an interior design studio in West Midlands founded by interior designer Aman Garcha, recently completed a home office transformation. The client had just launched her new property business and envisioned a bright, airy, and inviting workspace to inspire her creativity.
The existing room was dark and unwelcoming, featuring unflattering joinery that only amplified the gloom. Short, heavy curtains split the room in half, and a cumbersome curtain pole obstructed access to the electrical cupboard.
To transform the space, Aman and her team replaced the flooring and gave the walls a fresh coat of paint. They swapped out the heavy curtains for elegant floor-length voiles that allow natural light to flood in, creating an open feel. Another change they made was elongating the storage cupboard, and installing a stylish slatted wall which elevates the look and feel of the space. With the addition of sleek new track lighting the entire area is now bright and airy.
To complete the lighting design, Styling Spaces layered in wall lights, along with floor and table lamps, ensuring the perfect balance of task and ambient lighting.
Aman helped source all new furniture and the oversized artwork which serves as a stunning focal point for the client’s video calls.
The result? A stunning home office the client loves to showcase during her Zoom meetings, perfectly reflecting her vibrant personality and professional spirit.

About Styling Spaces
Styling Spaces Interior Design has a simple mission: to bring style, comfort, and practicality into the homes of busy people, all with just a click. After spending 18 years in media and journalism—working in TV, producing radio content for the BBC, and leading PR for top-tier companies—founder Aman Garcha decided to follow her true passion; interior design.
With property in her blood (thanks to her father’s 40+ years in the industry), Aman’s love for interiors only deepened in her 30s. In 2017, she completed diploma in Interior Design, and in 2020, Styling Spaces was born with a belief that modern homes are not only a reflection of one’s personality but also places that support our wellbeing and lifestyle.
