As the British art scene continues to evolve, new creative platform Art Space explores the rising talents of five exceptional female artists who are set to captivate audiences at its upcoming exhibition this March.

Kate Rose
Combining her passion for the natural world with the energetic brushstrokes and techniques of contemporary painting, Kate effortlessly blurs the lines and bridges the gaps between traditional wildlife portraiture and spontaneous, lively, abstract expressionism. In doing so, she meticulously captures her subject’s life, character, and movement and draws upon the beauty and essence of the area they inhabit through her choice of colour.

Chloe Cox
With a wealth of accolades, including the British Art Prize Second Place 2022, SAA Young Artist of the Year 2020 & ‘22, and the Emerson Award 2022, Chloe has already made her mark on the art world. A UK-based BAME freelance artist of Caribbean heritage, her work in oil is driven by a passion to represent the underrepresented, particularly those in ethnic minority communities.
Her hyperrealism style aims to capture the essence of people for centuries to come so that her sitters may feel a true sense of belonging in history, arts, and culture.

Lucia Tonnia – aka Modern Art Mama
Having launched her abstract art in 2023 with a mission to make art accessible to all by avoiding extortionate prices, Lucia prides herself on keeping costs minimal, much like her brilliant art. Creating modern canvas and textured wall art that spark meaningful conversations about identity, motherhood, and empowerment, the Modern Art Mama is one for clean, crisp and concise artwork.

Multidisciplinary contemporary British/Irish artist Emma uses the expressiveness of colour to create unique masterpieces that truly stand out.
