Jewellery designer and botanical artist Victoria von Stein launched her new, hand sculptured, sensuous BALI collection of colourful gold and silver rings. These sculptural, elegant botanical jewellery pieces are refined with detailed textures and airy, botanical movements, expressing the essence of the tropical Bali.
Inspired by Victoria’s trip to this Indonesian island, the pieces symbolise a sense of wellbeing when we surround ourselves with the beautiful and uplifting colourful energy of nature. It’s a luxurious object that connects to these feel-good memories when worn. They are designed to be worn everyday or for special occasions, using her signature organic style.
Victoria says: “My trip to Bali allowed me to evolve my jewellery-making skills by training in using jeweller’s wax carving to reflect and honour the beautiful Balinese craft heritage in stone-carving. Once I create the wax models they are then cast using a lost-wax casting technique.
The leaves are beautifully surrounding a big central faceted gemstone and finished with a smooth mirror and matt polish to reflect the soft waterfall flow and highlight the delicate engraved leaf vein textures. I wanted to achieve a sharp contrast between bold colours and shining finish of the gemstones and the elegant and textured design.”
Customers can choose from recycled sterling silver or 18k gold and colourful gemstones that resonate deeply with them. Available gemstones are amethyst, citrine, peridot, sky blue topaz, London blue topaz and red garnet. All rings are made to order.
