Interior design firm Studio Dean launched its Evolved luxury wallpaper collection

The interior designers at Studio Dean have launched an original collection of luxury wallpapers called EVOLVED inspired by their native Northumberland’s iconic forests and countryside.

The wallpaper collection was designed using leaves, feathers, bark and other beautiful patterns found in the forests near Studio Dean’s HQ at Dissington Hall, a Northumberland stately home. The interior designers used their artistic skill and experience to turn them into timeless papers that they now use regularly in their high-end interior design projects.

Cathy Dean, Founder and CEO of Studio Dean said, “It was a lightbulb moment – let’s create a collection of wallpaper and homeware so anyone can create a slice of Studio Dean and the Northumbeland countryside in any home.”

Several of the wallpapers, Athalia, Sylva, Asteria and Xylo are based on local leaves and trees and are becoming increasingly sought after during the recent ‘forestcore’ trend. The Hali and Kairi papers are based on chunky weave natural fabric such as jute, and are so realistic you have to touch them to believe they are paper! They come in a range of nature-inspired colours that add warmth and texture to walls with a subtle, timeless elegance.

All papers are printed to order on FSC certified paper using water based ink to eliminate waste and pollution. Cathy says, “We love and are inspired by forests nature and want to replicate in in people’s homes, while protecting the original source.”

The wallpaper collection is part of The Studio Dean Edit, a collection of handpicked homeware in which every item works together beautifully to instantly create the distinctive ‘Studio Dean Look’ in any home.
