Playful animals, birds and trees dance across the surface of Folk Tales, Safomasi’s whimsical new wallpaper inspired by storytelling folk art discovered at the National Crafts Museum in Delhi.
Arranged in an irregular grid that echoes the museum’s courtyards and galleries, a lively cast of parrots, peacocks and other animal motifs drawn from India’s craft and artistic traditions are set within foliage-framed panels. The result is a design that feels joyful, curious and full of life.
Folk Tales is available in three colourways: Pistachio, Jaipur Pink and Blue.
