Imogen Heath: Celebrating craft, colour and heritage through new collection

British design house, Imogen Heath, is excited to unveil its latest offering of wallpapers, fabrics, embroidery and a new range of patterned sheers. This collection is an exquisite fusion of traditional craftsmanship, bold colours, and rich patterns. Inspired by the timeless elegance of heritage design and cherished family photos, the collection is a contemporary take on Arts and Crafts sensibilities that celebrates the art of the hand painted and beautifully crafted design.

The new collection, which includes a vibrant array of patterned sheer fabrics, painterly wallpapers, and luxurious hand-embroidered trims, is a tribute to Imogen Heath’s creative heritage. Drawing inspiration from her grandparents’ love for art and design, Heath has woven their memories into every piece, creating designs that are both contemporary and nostalgic.

Partnering with one of the last remaining lace mills in the UK as well as their continued partnerships with highly skilled artisans to create fabrics, wallpapers and luxurious hand embroidered trims and borders, the brand proudly designs and makes all collections in the UK.

Imogen says: “My grandparents’ photographs, taken in the late 1940s, were a treasure trove of ideas. Bringing these memories to life through my work has been a deeply personal and creative journey.”

The collection will be presented for the first time at Decorex in October displaying:

SHEER FABRICS: Woven in Scotland’s last surviving lace mill, these sheers combine traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. Made from 100% cotton, they feature reimagined designs such as ‘Leni Stripe’ and ‘Anni Check,’ perfect for adding a soft, elegant touch to any interior.

PAINTERLY WALLPAPERS: The new range of wallpapers includes timeless checks, contemporary stripes, and delicate botanical patterns, all hand-painted and printed in the UK. These designs offer a fresh and playful take on classic motifs.

HAND-EMBROIDERED BORDERS AND TRIMS: Crafted by skilled artisans in the UK’s only remaining studios for hand-guided Irish embroidery, these luxurious borders and trims add a refined, bespoke element to interiors.

Visitors to this year’s Decorex are invited to experience first hand the beauty and artistry that define Imogen Heath’s newest designs.

Imogen Heath, a British designer based in Brighton, UK, specialises in pattern, colour, and beautifully crafted textiles for interiors. Her studio creates textiles, wallpaper, and embroidery for residential and commercial spaces. Heath’s collections can be found in international showrooms in the US, Canada, Australia and London.

Inspired by her surroundings and personal connections to the outdoors, architecture, and design, Imogen Heath has been working with pattern, prints, and design for interiors for the last ten years. With a creative background in textile design and a deep-rooted love for textiles, Imogen has built her eponymous studio and collaborated with renowned brands such as Liberty, Heals, and design studios like DeMuro Das.
