The British Blanket Company is delighted to introduce the Cloud Cotton Collection. Blending timeless artistry with modern sustainability, the collection draws inspiration from the rich architectural and engineering heritage of Bristol and features three designs – each available in a choice of three colours.
Designed in-house by Founders, Bethan and Joe John, each blanket features geometric patterns brought to life on jacquard looms, allowing Bethan and Joe to experiment with curved and diagonal lines in vibrant colours. Thoughtfully crafted at their Lancashire mill, the collection is made from recycled brushed cotton, reducing carbon emissions by 80% (compared to virgin cotton), and honours the legacy of British textile manufacturing whilst placing sustainability at the forefront.

In the Boatyard
Bold geometric forms meet mid-century flair in the Boatyard blanket design. The pattern takes inspiration from the architecture of Bristol’s Underfall Boatyard, particularly the unique lozenge window shape of the Victorian Pump Room.
The repeating geometric pattern has been brought to life with three beautiful colour combinations: Glow (featuring a combination of pink and yellow), Botanic (playing with shades of green) and Shell (combining blues and pinks). Each blanket is brushed for a cloud-soft feel and is finished with a contrasting blanket-stitched border.

Feel the Harmony
Honouring one of aviation’s most iconic designs, the Harmony blanket features a beautiful geometric pattern inspired by the delta wing shape of Concorde. Paying homage to Bristol’s historic contribution to the creation of the world-famous supersonic passenger plane, the sharp angles and fluid lines of the delta wing have been transformed into a soft yet eye-catching pattern that conveys elegance and speed.
The Harmony blanket is available in three colours, Lemonade, Blossom and Celadon, and will introduce a beautiful burst of spring colour and pattern to any interior.

Café Check please
A contemporary take on a classic pattern but with a unique Bristolian twist, the Café Check blanket is inspired by an optical phenomenon known as the Café Wall Illusion, first observed on the tiled wall of a Bristol café. The parallel lines of the design appear to slant or tilt due to alternating dark and light tiles, creating a mesmerising visual effect.
The blanket brings this illusion to life in a pattern that feels both timeless and modern. The brick-check design replicates the optical shift by alternating contrasting tones across three colour ways – Ember, Forest and Storm – giving a subtle sense of depth, movement and playfulness to the blanket’s surface.
