Dresser and Drawer was born in 2021 from Deima’s dream to work as a creative artist and it took many years to materialise. There was also a need to have unique and planet-friendly home decor items and those two core ideas were the starting point to learn more about sustainability, furniture upcycling and art.

Based in Chelmsford, Essex Deima brings to life outdated furniture without additional demand to cut the precious trees and increase consumption – her recourse is contemporary and vintage furniture that were made 50 – 60 years ago and still carries brilliant quality. She gives a new life and look to furniture that have lost interest and brings it back into it.

Deima uses extremely durable mineral paint and individually create designs to transform client’s own furniture or can happily source it from them, finding the best match for their needs. Every piece is unique, reflecting their owners’ personality and serving their individual needs. All furniture is refinished by hand with the utmost attention to detail. Because every unit is individually created, there are no two pieces of furniture the same. Bright colours, dynamic and vibrant patterns meet the practicality and functionality. Crafted with love, vintage furniture can last another half of a century with a possibility to be transformed again and again.
