Volume 2: The Colour Explosion out now
Apparently January is the most depressing month of the year. It can be so hard to get inspired and motivated. But don’t despair!! Our Volume 2. The Colour Explosion has come to the rescue. Full of bold colours, great interiors, art, little bit of fashion and amazing travel destination, you’ll feel better after reading it.
I used this “Chasing Poppy” art by Alexandra Gallagher as my inspiration and starting point for the issue. I came across it at West Elm, where I met Elina Gough, the founder of ArtSnug. She supports and works with emerging artists and creatives in the UK. Her story is pretty amazing!
But there is so much more in this issue. I also interviewed Aiveen Daly about her upholstery couture and her unique business, and Anouska, our interiors editor, interviewed Sophie Thompson – the founder and creative director of Terrarium Designs, which is an emerging design and lifestyle company specialising in home and fashion accessories. We also discovered Black & Sigi, Salome Designs and Marlow London – all emerging fashion accessory labels.
I’ve changed the flow of the issue and so now you can not only get inspired by beautiful photography in interiors, fashion, beauty and travel but also you can read business interviews in each category.
I believe that business is about a mindset. Having a clear vision, being confident and open-minded is something that we can constantly work on. And so I also introduced a mini-series in collaboration with, who is a leading UK holistic lifestyle expert. We call it “Snapshots of your life” and part 1. explores defining clarity and finding passion and purpose.
As always, thank you so much for reading our issues and for all your support. I hope you enjoy reading it. If you want to own a print copy, you can get it here. The issue costs £6 and yearly subscriptions cost £20. They come with four surprise gifts as a thank you! The Colour Explosion comes with a beautiful, luxurious, pure soy travel candle handmade by THE BOX OF in London.
